PRIVILEGE APPROVED BY KING. (SPECIAL TO "Tni3 PRESS.") WELLINGTON, September 0. The Primo Minister has roccived a memorandum from the Administrator of the Government stating that his Majesty the King has been graciously pleased* to approve of the use of tho title ' 'Royal'' by the Christchurch, Musical Society. Tho Administrator suggests tlhat the title of the Society should bo "The Royal Christchurch Musical Society." The Wellington Choral Society and the Auckland Male Choir have already been granted a similar privilege.
