NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
In the Durham street Methodist Church to-morrow .J;he Rev. \V. Ready will be the preacher. In the evening, a spccial service for youug men will bo hold. Dr. Stanley Brown, who is leaving Christchurch to reside in Invercargill, will sing two farewell solos, "The Requiem" (Sidney Horner), and "Lord We Praise The 3" (Mozart). The concert arranged "by the Trinity Congregational Church Choir, to bo given at the Lcyden street Hall, is .postponed until July 24 th. The Marshland-Mairehau Cycling l Club's annual social and presentation o£ prizes will bo -held in the Marshland Hall ou July 14th. Lectures begin at Canterbury College on Jv.lv 17 th for tho second term of 1920. A of exhibitions in connexion witJi the jliool of Engineering and Technical Scicnso has been instituted. A conocrt will bo given in the Grand Thontro to-morrow night. There will be a silver coin collection. A lecture, entitled "An Efficient Dental Service from tho State Point of View 1 ' will bo given in the W.EA. Rooms, Trades Hall, this evening by Mr St. John.
