» A Berlin message says food riots occurred in Karlsruhe. A woman was killed, and several persons were seriously injured. \ Montreal message says it is understood that the Hon. A. Meighen, Minister of tho Interior, will accept the Premiership of Canada. Budapest reports state that 210 persons were killed by a dynamite explosion in a coalmine. The shait collapsed, and nearly all thoso working below were buried alive. Questioned in the of Commons whether tho Australian and Canadian example would be followed in raising politicians' salaries and granting them free railwav nasses, Mr Bonar Law said the Government would not adopt the suggestion.
