NEVER BEEN TO "THE PICTURES."
(FROM OTTR OWN CORRESPONDEXT.)
LONDON, May 20. During the hearing of a film case the other day, Mr Justice Eve mad© the surprising confession that he had never seen *a kinematograpft picture. He has since enlarged upon this statement by adding, "and I have only been to a theatre once in a blue moon, as you might say—perhaps two or three times in my life. When lam at work I am too busy to go out much, and work is far too stuffy an atmosphere during the day to want to go to a theatre or a concert-hall, or anywhere of that nature. When I have a holiday I spend it in the open air—in a caravan preferably. I hope to have a caravan tour this year if I can'get the horses — not an easy job . nowadays." _Ho chuckled as he spoko of caravaning, and it was easy to realise that his mind turned from the leather-covered books and black robes of the Law Courts to the open West Country, his native heath.
