Acceptances for the Auckland Trotting Club's Autumn Meeting close at 5 p.m. to-morrow. Granger and Cromstall wero called off in the April Handicap at Addington yeste:-dav, for startinK before their time. F. E. Jones, the rider of Granger, was fined £5, and G. Birss, the rider oi Cromstall, was fined £10, the evidence at the enouirv held by the stewards, that .'/ones had been misled by Birss.

After the Oxford Handicap at Addition yestordav, several owners were called before, the stewards and reprimanded for n breach of the club's rnle w"i--h f'vbids a <-b"ngo of riders or drivers during the Meeting without the consent of the stewards. A warning was issued that in future a breach of tho rule would be met with a fine.
