Eliza'ooth Allison Woods was remanded, to appear again to-day on a charge of drunkenness and also of having, on Tuesday, at Christchurch, wilfully damaged windows in the garage of Tranter and Sons, to the extent of £2 106. A charge that eh© was deemed to be. an idle and disorderly percon, having insufficient lawful means of support, was brought against Minnie Brown, who was remanded till the 14th inst. " ALLEGED ASSAULT. Constancc Ella Reeves (Mr W. J. Hunter) proceeded against Ernest Edmoncti (Mr J?. \V. Johnstone) on a charge of having asfaulted her. The case was adjourned by consent until April 14th. I DISMISSED. Henry- Lcraino Scott vraa charged with having behaved in a disorderly manner in a tramcar. After hearing the evidence, his Worship dismissed the case. '• MAINTENANCE, Charged with having disobeyed the terms of a maintenance order, Aubrey Whittington was convictcd and' sentenced to fourteen days' imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended provided he keeps up future payments and pays 5s weekly off the arrears.
