(Received July 24th, 11 p.m.) NEW YORK, July 17 (delayed). The sterling exchange rate in New York fell to 436 oents, rallied to .434, and closed at 432. Experts believe a further decrease is certain unless credits are extended to Europe. A group of international bankers aro planning a meeting to discuss mease of preventing further decreases. (Reoeived July 24th, 9.45 p.m~.) LONDON, July 23. At the tallow sales, 2111 casks were offered and 1430 eold. Fins mutton mado 112 a 6d per cwt, medium 106s, fine beef 115 a Gd, and medium 110s. Inferior .declined Is per cwt. At the rabbit skill sales, there wsa a strong demand and a big a&nnoo in prices.
