POSITION IN AUSTRALIA. (By Cable.—Pre<* AMocia'ion.—CopynrkVO Australian and Z. C:ib:e Association.) SYDNEY, July 24. Influenza is steadily declining in the city and country. There were only three deaths in the metropolitan area yesterday. Brisbane reports that the epidemic is dying out. There have been no deaths since July 15th. Melbourne reports a recrudoscence. There have been 34 deaths, including 10 in the country.
