WELLINGTON Juno 10. Sir James Allen, referring to the delay in tho return of tho New Zealand Holdiors from Egypt, said that everything possible had been done from this ond to get tho men back. The Government had used every moans and brought t-o bear all tho pressuro it could, but. the decision rested with tho Imperial Government. There were two causes of the delay in tho repatriation of the Egyptian force —ono was thn lark of ships coming by the (Suez route, and tho other was that tho men were no doubt being retained owing to tho exigencies of tho situation in Egypt in recent months.
