The newest recruit to the American music-halls is Mr William J. Bryan, tho oft-defeated candidate for the Presidency, and First Secretary of State in Piesident Wilson's Government. _ He hat intimated his acceptance of £500 a wook in payment of a picture to be given by him twice daily at the Palace Theatre" of Varieties, New York, with a music-hall tour to follow. Tho lecture is to last 2*3 minutes, and will deal with current events and the rehabilitation of the world after the war.
