GERMAN MINES.
(PBESS ASSOCIATION TET.EGTt AM.)
"WELLINGTON, May 10. It is considered fairly certain now that no German mines are anchored in minefields off the New Zealand coast, though precautions are still being observed by shipping. The only mines located in recent months have been those fonnd on the coast, where they had drifted ashore. Tho number of mines accounted for is approximately fortv-five out of the siicty mines laid. It is exceedingly improbable that all the mines will over bo accounted for, since some may have sunk and others exploded on unsettled portions of the coast.
