- A commercial airship has been planned. It is 1100 feet in length, and has a range of 20,000 miles. It can cruifie sixteen days without descending, and its maximum speed is 95 miles an hour. It can carry 200 tons, inclusive of passengers and goods. It can fly comfortably and absolutely safely at an altitude of 1000 feot. Round-the-world trips are assured.

Another, 700 feet long, is "being built. It will have a range of 9400 miles, and a speed of 71 miles an hour. It will carry 50 tons.
