A REIGN OF VIOLENCE
(By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright J (Australian and K.Z. C«bl« Assoclation.) LONDON, December 20. The "Morning Post's" Constantinople correspondent reports a reign of violence. There are from sis to eight murders nightly in Pera (a suburb of Constantinople), where the residents *orm themselves into convoys in order to reach home safely. All the public services are suspended. The Government is impotent. The Allies must take over the policing of the city.
