CANTERBURY CLUB. The following competitions were played last week:— Argyle Singles (Handicap)—Maynard (per) 21 v. MoLolland (7) 20; Hill (6) 23 v. Davis (6) 20. Finnegaa'e Two-bowl Doubles—Miite and Dollan 20 v. lionayne and Haworth 14. Champion Singles—Tuit 21 v. Milea 14. - Champion Doubles—J. P. Smith and Fianogau l'j v. Maolachlan and Haetio 16. Bowkcr's Champion Rinks—Barnott, Finnegan, Ronayne, and Redpath 25 y. Danka, Yager, Cullen, and Haworth 12; Shearman, Hoffman, Borland, and Benzia 25 v. J. C. Smith, Maclachlan, J. P. Smith, and Hastao 12; Dollan, Hagger, Burgees, and Kirker 16 v. G. Baker, Duggan, Cox, and Maynard 14. Progressive Doubles were played yesterday, 32 players taking part. Finnegan, 6 wfhs, Mon the ekipa' prize, and Davie, 5 wine, the leads' prize. LINTVOOD CLUB. On the Linwood Club's green yesterday a progressive doubles match was played, thirtytwo players taking part.- A. Partridge won the skips' prize with G wins, and F. Matthews the leads' with 5 wins. SYDENHAM CLUB. Thirty-two playoro took psrt in a progressive doubles tournament played on the Sydenham green yesterday. Garth, 5 wine, won the skips' prise, and Cooper, 5J wins, the leads' prize.
