THE MISSING GERMANS.
FOUND ON SOMES ISLAND.

WELLINGTON, August 12. The four German internees on Somes Island who disappeared so mysteriously in tho early hours of Friday last, were found in the barbed-wire enclosure on tho island at 7.30 a.m. todny. None of. tho officials saw them make their reappearance. The men were very hungry and very cold. They had been hiding under tho floor of tho building in which they and other internees had been quartered. It is believed that they removed some of tho flooring boards in order to get under the structure.
They Are now lodged in cells on the island. . Pending an enquiry into the circumstances of their escape, tho liberty of tho other internees is being restricted.
