SUMMARY AND FORECAST. The barometer • has risen everywhere, and strong and squally but decreasing southerly winds havo prevailed. Cold and _ changeable weather has been experienced, with showers in meny parts of. the country. Present indications are for moderate to strong southerly winds and cold and changeable weather generally, " with scattered showers, especially along the East Coast.
