SHOOTING FATALITY. Last evening Mr T. A. B. Bailey, District Coroner, held an inquest at the residence of Mr C. Skevington, Wctr-. knlcu, touching the death of Albert George Jenkins, aged seven years, son oi' Mir Frederick Jenkins, who was accidentally shot by his brother the previous afternoon. The father of the deceased stated that he heard the report of tTie gun and ranout and found the boy lying dead, with a gunshot wound in his head. James Jenkins, aged 15, brother of the deceased, stated that he was standing outside with the gun loaded, for the purpose of shooting sparrows. His brother came and told him that hisi father said hd was to. go down to the.' stables. He ' turned to go wheal the" trigger caught .'the'button..of his ooatJ and the gun went off. His brother was standing on the.doorstop about four feet away from him and the charge struck him in the face. ..Dr. T. A. Will also gave evidence. The Coroner returned a verdict that deceased came by his death from a gunshot wound accidentally inflicted by his brother.
