Arrived—Port Chalmers: Breeze (2 a.m.); Kaikoura: Cygnet (8 a.m.); Wellington: Mararoa (8.50 a.m.), Mana (7.45 \Vootton (5.10 p.m.), all from Lvttelton. Soiled—iimaru: Rosamond (1.15 a.m.); Kaikoura: Wakatu (9.30 a.m.), Cygnet (11.45 a.m.): Wellington: Mararoa (7.50 p.m.), all for Lyttelton. SHIPPING NOTES. Tho Rosamond is expected to arrive at this port about the 30th inst. from Gisborne, with a load of sheep. She,, will load nero for Napier and Gisborne. Tho Kotare is expected to reach Lyttelton on Sunday from Puponga with a load of coal, and is timed to leave this port on the following day for Dunedin and Invercargill. The Karu will load at Nydia Bay to-day for Lyttelton, and is duo here on Monday. She will sail on Tuesday for Wellington. Mr C. Pin# has joined the Karamu as chief in place of Mr K. J. McConnell. , ~ The colliers Kini and Ngatoro axe loading coal at Greymouth for discharge at Lyttel!°The glass has been falling steadily during the post few days, indicating unsettled weather. Bough weather and heavy seas are prevailing on tho "West Coast, and a number of colliers, including the Kokiri and Poherua, are bar-bound at GTeymouth and Westport.
