CHAPTER OF ACCIDENTS TO MADAME MELBA.

(.Received May 23rd, 1 a.m.) VANCOUVER, May 21. Madame Melßa has raised £75,000 for patriotic purposes. She entertained thousands of soldiers ot American cantonments.
She broke her wrist at Texas* where a beam fell from the theatre flies, but she continued her performance. She was also in an automobile accident while in a private car. She was slightly burned while boiling water for tea. She saw a man killed on the spot when run over by an automobile. Nevertheless tho tour was a great success.
