o ANNUAL MEETING. The forty-fourth annual meeting of tno Hangiora Volunteer Fire Brigade was he;d at the Brigade Station last evening. There were only tlircc fire alarms dvring the yoar. and none was of a serious character. The generous treatment by the Borough Council in providing all the firemen ■with service boots, and in increasing the Brigade's accident insurance policy, ' was acknowledged. Thanks were a!so accorded to thoso who had assisted the Brigade financially and in other ways. Sympathetic rcferc/ioe was made to the death of the lata Mr "\V.
