CANTERBURY KENNEL CLUB

The annual meeting of the Canterbury Kennel Club was held on Monday. Mr A. Morton, president, occupied the chair. There was a large attendance of members. The report and balance-sheet 6howed a deficit of £11 13s 3d on the ycar'e workings.

Hervey; committee, Mcesrs R. Francis, C. Goodwin, T. Richmond, W. S. Levcrfcedge, G. Watson, T. Durie, and G. Biltcliff.

It was resolved, on the motion of the president, that the members of the Canterbury Kennel Club place on record their appreciation of Mr Hervey's cervices during the time he has occupied the position of secretary to the club, and also t6 express their regret that he has deemed it necessary to retire from the position.
