RED CROSS WORKERS. The Governor's Bay branch of the Red Cross Society held a meeting last week, Mr C. Kaye presiding. It was decided that tho work of making comforts, etc., for the soldiers, previously done during the afternoon, be done in the evenings, and classes for this purpose will be opened shortly. . THE PICTURES. A world drama, "The Family Honour," a topical budget, and a Chaplin comedy, "One aan.," comprised tho programme presented at the Harbour Light Picture Theatre on Saturday afternoon and evening. The same programme will be repeated this evening. At to-morrow'a sessions, in addition to the principal picture, "The Waiting Soul," starring Olga. Petrova, the first episode of tho new serial, "Who is Number One?" will be screened. . BAND CONCERT. A concert will be given from the rotunda this evening by the Lyttelton Marine Band.
