CANTERBURY RUGBY UNION.

Two very interesting matches will take place at the Show Grounds this afternoon, these being Mariflts v. Old Boys, and Christchurch v. Morivalo. The former match should prove of a very nature, hjb both teams play an exceptionally fast open gam®, and some firet-claea football may be looked forward to. The Christchurch-Aleri-vale gpine should ajeo provide an interesting contest, as tho Christchurch team has been considerirtjly strengthened since last week. The games will commence at 2.45. The Third Grade. Christchurch v. Old Boys match, which was originally set down for the Christchurch ground, will be played on the old Canterbury College ground, in the-« North Park.
