SEVENTH EAT. There were good attendances the day ai the festival of the Christchurch Literary and Musical Competitions Society yesterday. In the evening the King's Thefltre was well filled, when, several interesting finals were dec-ded, including ihe Society's Scholarship for .Ladies and gentlemen. under 21, which went to a Christchurch competitor, Miss Winifred Reed.
