POTATOES CONDEMNED.

DtTNEDCT, Hay 9. A shipment of over 1300 sacks of potatoes arrived, here recently from Australia. The whole consignment was condemned bv the Government inspector owing to the prevalence o£ blight and scab. The potatoes were accompanied, by a certificate from an Australian grader that they were' free from cisease. The value of the shipment was about £450.
