SAILORS' DAY.
BRITISH AND FOREIGN SAILORS'
SOCIETY,
"FOR THOSE IN PERIL ON THE SEA." This is an appeal which deserves the whole-hearted support of three classes in particular
1. Producers of exportable products. 2. Importing houses. 3. All those who profit by handling imports or exports.
Business firms in town can be reached without expense, and aro responding gladly, but personal canvass of country peoplo involves a heavy tax on time and funds. Thefefdre wo appeal to farmers to send ill their cheques without delay. Let it not be said that tho producers failed to help those who risk all to sustain the Empire's trade.
