Considerable interest is being aroused by commercial men in regard to the manufacture of paper pulp at the Queensland Pine Company's- mill at Yarraman, says tho Brisbane "Daily Mail." Replying to a question last week, the Queensland Minister for Lands, Mr Hunter, stated that the report of tho expert, Mr Iverson, was, m effect,* that the quality of the Yarraman pulp was equal to that of the best American. He (the Minister) understood that the pulp was suitable for printing paper provided that the necessary processes for the manufacture of printing paper were gone through.
