AUCKLAND, Hay The tramway men held a meeting this morning. There were 170 present, and they agreed to the suggestion or the Conciliation Commissioner for a further conference under Mr Harle Giles, or the Hon. G. Fowlds. provided the tramway management agree give the chairman a casting vote. Telegrams were read from the tramway men of other centres expressing patliy and offering assistance. Ih© federation and transport workers sent messages of sympathv. A meeting ot day workers takes place to-night.
