REINFORCEMENTS.
STATEMENT BY MINISTER. (pbess association* telegram.) AUCKLAND, May 8. Sir James Alien stated that no great difficulty was being experienced in securing the additional number of men required by the Imperial Government. Unless circumstances involved an alteration of tho plans. Class B men, who aro now being medically examined, will probably be going into camp when the reinforcements fall back to their strength prior to the recent request for an increase.
