Lomafl. j CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION. ! The Management Committee of tho Con- ' terbury Hockey Association met last even* ing. Present —Messrs S. G. Holland (chairman), B. Morris, T. Butterfield, J. Soper, C. Bellamy, H. 8011, A. Locke, H. Luxton, W. : Williamson, and H. Rogers (secretary). Matters pertaining to tho new grounds at the Soulh Park were gone into at length, and final arrangements were made for their marking, etc. It was arranged that entries for the five-a-side competition for June 3rd ehould close on Jane 2nd, and that the entrance fees ; should be the same as last year. The question of grounds for the tournament was left over to a future date. A motion of sympathy was passed to the relatives of F. Hickinbotham and S. Bufton, who had made tho supreme sacrifice in France.
