AN UNSAVOURY CASE,.
• •— —' —- (PBESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, May 7. The hearing of the case in which five women were charged with being connected with an alleged house of ill-fame in Kelburn was resumed in the Magistrate's Court to-day, when the evidence for the pro6ecntion was concluded. Counsel for the defence addressed the Court, and at the conclusion of the addresses the Magistrate decided that there was no evidence against two of the accused. and. the charges Against them were dismissed. After a number of witnesses for the defence had been heard the case was adjourned until tomorrow.
