METHODIST CIRCUIT.
A attended meeting of the officials ° f u ,V h , ns ' chur ? 11 Mi 1 Methodist Circuit -waa held last week at Wesley Church Fitzgcrald avenue, to consider readjustment of pastoral oversight for the new connexion! J't-ar. Owing to chanmcs in ministerial appointments iijade at the recent JDunedin conference, a difficulty arose in regard to tbe ministerial supply jor the six cburchcs in th© circuit. The following apportionment \va 3 agreed uponWesley Church, Kev E. P. Blamires, superintendent of the circuitKew Brighton and Kichmond churches. Rev. W. Walker, with pnrsouage at New Brighton; Lin wood and Shirley churchca, Rev L. Hudson (supernumerary), with parsonage at Linwood; Marshland Church, Kcv. W. C. Oliver (supernumerary), with tho sanction of the St. Albans quarterly meeting, under the jurisdiction of which he is acting ae ministerial supply at the Edgewaro road Methodist Church. It was decided to make a grant to the St. Albans circuit for the Kev. W. C. Oliver's services at Marshland.
