RANGIORA BOWLING CLUB.
« The monthly meeting, of the Rangiora Bowling, Tennis, and Croquet Club was held hist evening, Mr X. W. Ambrose presiding. It was decided to forward, a letter of sympathy to the wife and family of tho late Mr J. Sansom, a past president of the club. The Ground Committee reported that tho bowling greens and croquet lawns had been top-dressed and closed down for the winter. The balance-sheet showed a debit value of £150 lie Bd. It was deculed to hold' the usual winter card tournaments on the same lir.es as last year, all net proceeds to be divided between the Lady Liverpool and Rod Cross Funds. A special committee, consisting of Messrs W. Efford, W. A. Banks, J. McKenzie, A. E. Golding, Win. Rowse, and chairman and secretary was set up to arrange j for the first euchre tournament on May 20th. This being the last meeting of the committee before tbo annual meeting, the chairjnan | thanked the members for the cordial feelings | which had existed between the members and . himself. The meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the chair. |
