Kovo-ko has been tested--in scorcy of motor-cars and stationary engines—here is the report of a trial carried out by Mr Aiason Jin.vly. of Bett and Bayly's Motor Garage, Palmerston North. This took place in September last. The following speaks for itself"The plant used was a 3 h.p. stationary benzine engine, coupled to a 26 to 10 dynamo connected un to a lighting set. The engine was allowed to run .till slopping point on a half-pint of Kalilf motor spirt. A further half-pint of Novo-ko-treated motor spirit was then used, and the engine once more set a. going, with tlio l'eod and air readjusted. JOvcry condition was similar exactly in tho two runs, and the Novo-ko proved itself triumphant to the tune of an increase of just over 78 per cent, in running time, with exactly the same amount of ■fuel." Jt is interesting to note that in addition to the above facte, Novo-ko is not injurious to metals —a bottle containing coins, copper-plate, wire, steel, and iron parts in a mixture of Novo-ko and motor spirit reveals not the slightest trace of corrosion after nearly a year.
