RETURNED SOLDIERS
ARRIVAL OF TRANSPORTS
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) I AUCKLAND, March 15. I Transports Nos. 147 and 148 arrived I this afternoon, and No, 149 is due at ten o'clock. On No. 147 arc a few limbless men, and one or two on crutches. All arc well on the way to recovery. A number of Main Body artillerymen have returned on furlough. There are seven decorated men, including ono D.C.M. and 6ix Military Medals. On No. 148 hfty or sixty hare lost one limb. There are also many severely wounded, but no actual cot cases, and a number of Main Body men. There are ten decorated men, including two D.S.O.'s. The men for the southern part of the North Island and for the South Island from the three transports leave here by the transports to-morrow.
