EMPLOYERS' FEDERATION
PREPARING FOR THE CALL ON THE SECOND DIVISION.
(press association telegram.) WELLINGTON. Jun e 18. At a meeting of the Advisory Board of the New Zealand Employers' Federation, the following motions were adopted:—
That a sub-committee be set up, consisting of the president and secretary, to confer with representatives of the Second Division League, also to interview Surgeon-General Henderson and other officials, with the object of formulating some practicable scheme which will result in as little dislocation of business as possible for reference to the district Associations, and subjcct to their approval, to make representations to the Government in connexion with tho matter.
That this meeting considers that steps should bo taken to discontinue the holding of Territorial camps and training camps during tho poriod of the war, and that strong representations bo made to the Minister of Dofence in this connexion.
