AMUSEMENTS.
OPERA HOUSE,
The new bill at the Opera House was accorded a good reception last evening by a large audience. Leonard Nelson was again in popular favour, and he had. to respond to numerous encores. His song 3 included numbers which he scored heavily with on former visits to this city. Ermakov-'s war story was excellently described, and was greatly appreciated by all present. Mis 3 Violet Trevenyon captivated with catchy songs daintily sung, and the other artists all • came in for their share of applause. The same programme will bo given to-night, and a matinee will be held on Saturday afternoon.
"FLIRTATION "WITH DEATH." The absorbingly interesting film, "Flirtation With JJeath," depicting the extraordinary feats of _a\ Dodge Brothers motor car in negotiating some of the roughest possible country in the United States, was screened at His Majesty's Theatre last night before,a large audience. To-night and every night this week "Flirtation With Death" will be shown at His Majesty's.
