Danish per cwt. 21Ss to 2205, New Zealand, salted 190s to 1945, unsalted 192s to 190s, good to tine quality salted 180s to 188s, Australian salted IS6< to 190s, unsalted 18tis to 1925, Dutch creamery salted 192s to 1965, Argentine salted 184s to 186s. unsalted 186s to 188s.

Cheese —The market continues firm, and the advance in prices is maintained. Tho demand is in excess of the supply. Canadian stocks are light. White 140s to 1465, coloured 140s to 1465, Dutch Cheddar 138s to 140s, English Cheddar 148s to 1525, States, flats, white 140s to 1425, coloured 140s ti 1425. Hemp—The market is quiet but firm. Owing to the absence of sellers, buyers arc waiting further developments. Quotations (nominal). . January to March shipments, good fair New Zea?and hemp per ton £60, fair £58, Government graded, fair Manila £62, coarser £59. Tho output of hemp at Manila for tho week ending last Saturday was 20,000 bales. Wheat—The market is quiet but steady. Australian afloat is nominally worth 82s. Oats —The market is steady, but the demand is only moderate. New Zealand on spot 51s. Hops—The market is quiet, with a general feeling of uneasiness. Government regulations restricting tho beer output are affecting business. The Board of Trade informed mo that they will not grant licenses during the coming season to import hops from British Dominions.
