BOROUGH COUNCILS.
BICCARTON. The Riccarlon Borough Council met !aet nisht. Present —Tlifc ilayor (M.r J. Brown), and Councillors T. J. Stokes, A. Hampton, VT. Dalley, A. D. Ford, J. Munr.inga, A. E. Stecre and H. Gudse!l. The Finance Comm■'t tee's report stated that the receipts eince last meeting- had amounted to £176 Is 9d. There were credit balances of £17 16a lOd on the Xo. 9 loan account, o£ £030 10s. on the X«. 10 eouth aiea loan account, of £U-2 '2« 3d. on the electricity loan account, and of £31 la 3d on the Dudley street loan account. The report recommended that the town slxraM I>e requested to prepare a report showing the adjustment of the grading of Clarence road as between the south area loan account and the district fund account. The report was adopted, and accounts amounting to £173 l-2s Id were passed for payment. It was- decided that it should be a recommendation to she finance Committee" to import upon the advisability'of holding a poll of that part of the district which wag uaasphalted.
