A CORRECTION.
TO THE EDITOR OF "THE PRESS." Sir, —If, as frequently happens, yon think fit t& refer to the Roman Catholic Church as "the Catholic Church," in your columns, is it quite fair, in a mutilated report of a sermon preached by me at S. Luke's Church on Sunday last, to make mo guilty of the saino theological and historical inaccuracy?— Yours, etc., v C. CHRISTCHURCH. July 31st. i r Wc, of course, insert his Lordship's correction of the report, but we cannot open our columns to a discussion which might lead to sectarian controversy and perhaps bitterness at a time, when it is essential wo .should vilj be united. —Ed.
