Bush fires burned towns of Cochrane and Matheson, in Northern Ontario. One hundred persons wer© killed and many injured. TITANIC CLAIMS SETTLED. (Australian and NZ. Cable ' Association.) NEW YORK, July 30. A decree has been signed settling all the Titanic suits for 655,000 dollars, and barring all future actions. The original claims amounted to 18,000,000 dollars. ' SAN FRANCISCO BOMB OUTRAGE. • SAN FRANCISCO, July 30. Thomas Mooney, a labour agitator, and his wife, have been arrested in connexion with the recent bomb outrage, making eight arrests so far. ALLEGED THEFT. (Router's Telegrams.) OTTAWA. July 30. Great interest is being taken in the trial of Roblin, formerly Premier of Manitoba, and other Cabinet Ministers, who are charged with the theft of 1,500,000 dollars in connexion with the erection of the' new Parliament Buuclings; .ilorwood, Government architect, testified that he was asked to add 50,000 dollars to the estimates for one wing "to provide a campaign fund." PIERPONT MORGAN ESTATE. (Australian and -\.Z. C.iblo Association.) v NEW YORK, July 30. The late Mr J. Pinrpont Morgan's - estate has been appraised at £15,000.000, which is £5,000,000 less than was supposed. His library and art collection are valued at £5,000,000.
