HOSPITAL SUBSIDIES.
(P3KSB ASSOCIATION TKUKSBAM.) WELLINGTON, July 21. The Hon., 6. W. Russell, replying to a deputation from the Wellington Hospital Board on the question of subsidies paid to Hospital _ Boards, said it was proposed next session to introduce legislation to amend tho present system. One provision -would bo' that Hospital Board estimates must be submitted to the Department before being passed. It was also jjroposod to call a conference of representatives of Hospital Boards before finally framing tho legislation.
