Cloudy and unsettled weather has been reported generally, with heavy rain on the West Coast and southern districts Present indications aro for nigh northerly and westerly winds, changing shortly to south-west in the south. Expect cloudy and unsettled weather, with rain probable generally, and snow on some of the higher levels in the south. The barometer is unsteady, with a rising tendency in the south.
