The Federal and Shir® Line's steamerWestmcath, on route from New York to Australia, made a call at Wellington yesterday to replenish her bunkers. Owing to fog, tho Paloona did not get away from Port Chalmers, until 8.15 a.m. yesterday. Her departure for Wollington l.u<3 been fixed for this afternoon. Instead of calling at Lyttclton thiß weeii, the Westralia is proceeding direct from Wollington to Dunedin. She is due at Lyttclton on lier way north on Wednesday next. Aa she is being docked at Sydney this week, the Riverina will not leave for Wellington until to-day. Sho is due at the northern port on Tuesday, but wjll not coma on to LytWTton. Sho leavo s Wellington again for Sydney on Thursday next. Inferior coal has boon responsible of late for the Maori's la to arrival at Lyttclton, and yosteniay morning tho veesel did not reach port until 8.40. THS FEERY SERVICE. NEW WHARF AT WELLINGTON.
