THE MEDICAL PROFESSION.

TO THE EDITOR OF "THE PRESS." Sir, —Owing doubtless to an erasure in the 'MSS., a portion of my letter in to-day's issuo was misunderstood by the compositor, and consequently reads quite differently to ray intention. Tho words "that is" have been inserted in a paragraph which should read thus: "There is another point of view from which we may consider the demand of the Hon. Mr .Russell that we must meet any mau in consultation, and tho often expressed assumption of the Coroners, that a medical man must attend any caso to -which he is called, etc." Thanking you in anticipation.—Youre, ctc., E. JENNINGS.
