A meeting of the general committee ot tb* Kangiora Bowling, Tennis, and Croquet Ciub ( was held last niyiit, ilr AV. EHord, jun., pre* ) siding over an attendance of 20 members. Four new meinbors were elected and nine . resignations accepted. - ft A:i offer by tho members of the croquet s i section to carry out the first social eveningof tlio year for the purpose of raising sufficient iunds to purchase three seta of Davidson hoops waa accepted. It was decided to appoint 20 guarantors of the club's overdraft, and 16 of those present accepted the responsibility. The amount of the guarantee was reduced by £100. A request from the tennis section for » volleying board waa referred back to ♦h® - Tennis Committee for further particulars. , Arrangements were made for the installation of tho telephone and the purging of . < the club's roll. .
