It is understood that important decisions were taken after Lord Robert Cecil's .conference with the French authorities for tightening the blockade. GERMAN DYE-STUFFS. SEIZURES IN DUTCH SHIPS. AMSTERDAM, June. 4. The British held up several Dutch steamers and compelled them to discharge their cargoes of aniline dyes. One cargo which was at Durban consisted of 400 cases consigned to the Dutch East Indies, and was allowed to proceed on condition that it was placed at the British Consul's disposal. It is understood that the seizures arc the result of previous consignments not being distributed in accordance with the Anglo-Dutch agreement.
