LABOUR TROUBLE AT BLUFF.

A strike has occurred among the watersiders at Bluff, where the Remucra has to load 25,000 carcases of meat aud 4000 cases of cheese, and dischargo 650 tons. The men worked fourteen hours on Friday and knocked off. As perishable* cargo was waiting, the shipping company put on a night shift from the crew," at. award rates, and the watersiders did not rcsnmc. The BlufF cool stores are congested with cheese. Later. The men who caused the trouble on the Remuera on Saturday have resumed work unconditionally. It is considered that the ship cannot now sail until Wednesday night at the earliest.
