WOODEJSTD-WAIEUKtr. The Wocdend-Waikuku Branch baa sent in a total of 220 garments from February 9th to March 30th. The bandage department alflO did excellent work, and. sent in 1726 articles. Over £60 has been collected, by the Branch. LITTLE RIVER. The weekly meeting of the Little River lied Cross workers was held in the Coronation Library on Thursday. The committee wishes to acknowledge help from the following:—Mesdames Aitken, Taylor, Lewthwaite, Jag. Chapman, Humphries, Patten, Jas. Joblin, Wynn-Williams, M. Norrie, Buchanan, Yanstone, J. Coop, Hutchinson, N. Thompson, Banks. Cossar, Line, —. Thompson, Gilbert, Birdling, —. Thompson, Giddens, Mules, H. Wilson, and the Misses Tyson, Brown, Wilson, Lahey, Vanstone, Lewthwaite, and Topp. The Parcels Committee had quite a busy afternoon preparing the monthly parcels for the local soldiers. Some 26 parcels were made up and posted to the local lads. YALDHURST. At the annual meeting of the Yaldhurot Branch of the Red Cross Society, the bal-ance-sheet showed that £110 7s 2d. had keen collected, of which £35 had been given to the Red Cross, £52 18s 6d spent on materials, and tho remainder was in hand for further effort. During the year the following had. been sent in:—lß9 pairs socks. 21 pairs bed socks, 16 pairs mittens, 23 Balaclavas, 1< body belts 11 mufflers, 8 pairs slippers, 37 knitted facecloths, 27 pyjamas, 9 dressing gowns, 25 flannel vests, 8 flannel bed jackets, 29 cotton bed jackets, 6 cotton nightshirts, 11 day shirts, 3 underpants, 13 dozen handkerchiefs, 6 surgical veils, 69 medicine cloths, 19 diet cloths, 6 bottle covers, 8 towel face cloths, 10 operation cloths, 1 rubber bandage, 10 parcels of old linen —altogether 725 articles, besides a crate of plum puddings and 55 pairs of socks to the Liverpool Depot had been sent in, a very creditable performance for a- small district. This month the following articles (not included above) were sent in:—lß pairs socks. 1 bed sock*, 3 Balaclavas, 3 pyjamas, 2 cotton" nightshirts, 3 bed jackets, 1 shorts, 6 shirts, 38 handkerchiefs, and 2 bundles old linen.

"WAIAU. For the month of March the Waiau Branch of the Red Cross forwarded to the Christcliurch depot (per Mrs E. Rinaldi):— 9 suits pyjamas, 5 pairs socks, 6 pairs underpants, 7 vests, 8 shirts, 1 dreseing-gown, 1 bedjacket, 1 nightshirt. 1 Balaclava. 9ffomentartion cloths, 10 bundles medipine cloths. GOVERNOR'S BAY. During the quarter ending March 31st,. tho members' contributions amounted to £15 17s. Donations were received from the following: —Mr Brndlev £10, Mr Edwards 10s. Mr Cook £2 Mr Mitchell £5, Mr Cholmondeley £31 Misses A. and E. Bradley £2 10s, Mt. Herbert County 'Council £10 10s. Six women's meetings have been held, and nine combined men and women's meetings for bandagerolling in the evenings, and 1429 bandages and other articles were sent to the depot.
