The chairman reported that the sale ftf tv;o caxes of apples given by Mr 12. A. Patton, of Paaha. Little River. realised £j 3s. and that the- following amounts wcro raised by tho Girls' Friendly Society:—ill 10a at tho concert and £25 ia at the show, making a total of £'20 lis. Mr L. Harper, who gavo half of his proceeds to No. 2 Queen, wns successful in adding £1 1-1:3 Gd to tho funds. Mr Montgomery moved tbat a banking account b» opened in the B;iuk of .New Zealand. Tho motion was carried. Mr T. Qucaly was elected txecstirer. A committer was elected to canvass Geb.bie's Valley, Kaituna, and Price V Valley as follows:—Messrs J. C. C. Gtbbis. F.. A. Radford, T. Qucaly, W. F. Parkinccu, F. Field, and F. Coop. Mr F. Birdling wr.? appointed a member of the general committee. Mr J. C. C. Gc'.bia proposed: "That this meeting i* strongly of opinion that the nuinber3 on the Qucon tickets should not bs altered, and that this resolution forwarded to tho chairman nf tit* General Committer for consideration." Tho motion was carried unanimously. Corrcspondonc; was received from Standish and P recce recording photographs of tho Queen.
